Charlie Gunn named 'Blind Person of the Year'
Congratulations to Charlie Gunn! He is V.I.P. Organization Inc.'s "Blind Person of the Year".
Gunn was awarded a $100 check from V.I.P.'S C.E.O. William Bowman and a $30 gift card from Golden Ranch to eat dinner.
Gunn says, "I am honored to win the award. I thank GOD for it. I am glad to have literally bumped into Mr. Bowman in Walmart Selma."
The award was presented at V.I.P.'s SUMMER Low Vision Support Group meeting on Friday June 4,2021 at Golden Ranch in Selma, Alabama.
"The award is given to an individual that is blind or visually impaired that is accomplishing great things in their community and that is overcoming their obstacles in live," said V.I.P. CE.O. William Bowman. "Charlie Gunn is a positive young man and has over come a lot in life. He is good role model and a mentor to his friends and neighbors."
