William Bowman takes on school bullying

V.I.P. C.E.O. William H. Bowman attended the School of Discovery in Selma, Alabama for a forum on bullying and the affects bullying has in the community.

Folks on stage were members of the community that deal with bullies daily,. D.A. Michael Jackson, Officer King from the Selma Police Dept. and more.

The event was to stomp out violence and bullying in the school. The program was apart of National Bullying Prevention Month for October. Bowman spoke about how bullying affected him growing up and how he learned to "Deal With It."
Bowman says,

"Surround your self with good people and learn from them on what you wan to do in life. "

"Take on a hobby such as singing or writing."

He also used country music to sing songs written and recorded by country singers who were in jail or sang about jail . Merle Hgagard and Johnny Cash's songs were used to tell the story of prison life.
