Verizon Wireless comes to Selma to promote cell phones that have accessibility options for the visually impaired.

he staff spoke at our December 2015 low vision support group meeting. They showed off apps with magnifiers to allow some one with low vision to read a menu in a restaurant.

They also told our group about voice commends and large print options for keys on key pads of cell phones. The gave individual demonstrations on how cell phones can make the visually impaired more independent.
