Dr. Rev. Melvin Pylant named Visually Impaired Person of the Year

Dr. Rev. Melvin Pylant was named The 201 5VISUALLY IMPAIRED PERSON of the Year. He receives a certificate and the use of a CCTV from V.I.P..

V.I.P. loans assistive technology when available to individuals with low vision who cannot afford to buy one.

Pylant got his treats for Christmas early for his years doing community service across Alabama. He is legally blind and a preacher/radio personality on air talent from the internet. He and his son founded NOW MINISTRIES.

Pylant has spoken at many churches around Alabama and his life has touched thousands.

V.I.P. salutes Melvin Pylant for all he and his family does to help others across Alabama. He and his wife Bonnie were sweethearts and have been marred with years and have children and grand children.

He does not let his vision impairment stop him from doing his job. So because of this V.I.P. honors him.
