Dr. Kristina Lovinggood makes donation to V.I.P.

Dr. Kristina Lovinggood O.D. of the Primary Eyecare Center of Selma, Alabama donates funds to V.I.P. C.E.O. William H. Bowman for the purpose of being used for V.I.P. C.E.O. William H. Bowman to pay some one to drive him to V.I.P. sponsored events.

Events such as low vision educational events and speaking engagement to promote the organizations mission of preventing visual impairments and the prevention of blindness. V.I.P. also participates in local health fairs promoting assistive technology such as computers with screen readers and hand held magnifiers.

Bowman a visually impaired man does not drive due to a visual impairment. The visual impairment is due to glaucoma. The leading cause of blindness. Funds are needed for Mr. Bowman to have an assistant to get him where he needs to go to do his work.

Lovinnggodd a local eye doctor recognized his unique challenges and wanted to assist him with funds to help him be able to get out to promote the organizations mission.
